Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete the data Onshur holds about you, including data from Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn. Onshur is operated by CairoStack.

Ways to delete your data

You can delete your data in any of these ways:

1. Disconnect a platform account. In Onshur, disconnect the social account. We stop accessing it and delete the data connected through it.
2. Delete your Onshur account. Go to Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. This deletes your account and all of its connected data.
3. Email us. Send a request to privacy@onshur.net from the email address on your account. Tell us whether you want to delete a specific connected account or your whole Onshur account.

Remove Onshur from the platform

You can also revoke Onshur's access directly on each platform:

• Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp: go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, and remove Onshur.
• YouTube and Google: go to https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions and remove Onshur.

Revoking access on the platform stops new data from reaching us. To delete data we already hold, also use one of the options above.

What gets deleted, and when

• Your personal data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Backups roll off within a further 60 days.
• Invoices are kept as required by Egyptian tax law.
• Content you already published to a social platform stays on that platform. Delete it there if you want it removed.
